The Piano Man Returns To Jackson
The Piano Man ( Wade Preston ) is returning to Jackson and this time he is bringing his original Broadway five-piece band with him. Wade Preston starred in Billy Joel’s Broadway production Movin’ Out. The Rotary Club of Jackson Charitable Foundation Inc. ( a 501 C 3 public charity ) will be hosting this event and all net proceeds will be donated to charity.
The net proceeds will be donated to the American Recreational Military Services (ARMS) and various local charitable projects in Jackson. ARMS is also a 501 C 3 public charity that supports our military personnel and their families. Over the past 6 years, ARMS has provided a tremendous amount of support to deployed military woman and men. For example, ARMS has provided approximately 800,000 pounds of personnel necessities; 23,000 pre-paid calling cards; provided over $50,000 in direct financial aid to families and over40,000 holiday presents to military dependent children. In addition, ARMS has participated in 60 Home Comings and Freedom Salutes to support our troops.The jazz bands of Jackson Liberty and Memorial High Schools will also perform. Seating is limited and a sell-out is expected.
